Default question about Mid. in Chels

I personally love this album. loved it since it came out. My son who is 6 also loves it. I just joined the board recently because my son has become a huge fan. I was just wondering what the general feeling is on here about the cd.

Do you mean Destination Anywhere? Midnight In Chelsea was a single from that album.
I personally love the album and proves to me that Jon is (or was) capable of so much more than the recent dross served up!

I hate Destination Anywhere. I think it sucks bar some couple songs.

I like it. It's quite a moody album. I liked the production, there's lots of layers. I'd happily take a solo JBJ circa 97 over the current Bon Jovi.

I'm a huge fan of Destination Anywhere. I think it has some of the best lyrics Jon has written.

"But the air's too thick for one of us to breathe
I'm not fool enough to think you couldn't live life without me"

God damn that's good.

It's an OK album, in my opinion. Only the title track and August 7 are songs I ever listen to from it. The title track is probably my favorite song to come out of any solo effort of any Bon Jovi members.

Huge fan of this album. Such a different vibe to anything Bon Jovi have done. Songs are sung so different and I think Jon could do an album like that now if he tried.

I'd love for him to try it.

Great album. One of the last true honest albums from Jon. Some of the lyrics are fantastic. It's no doubt that there are some true feelings in there. Favorite tracks: Every Word Was a Piece of My Heart, Destination Anywhere, Staring At Your Window & Cold Hard Heart. I have never understood the love for It's Just Me though. It's just boring in my book.

I think it's really good, not quite great but there are some brilliant lyrics on it and some great vocals. Never really cared for Midnight In Chelsea itself-the "sha la la"'s put me off a bit but I love the title track, Janie, Queen Of New Orleans, Staring AT Your Window, Ever Word Was A Piece..., Learning How To Fall.

Oh, and I love Talk To Jesus too!

Definitely a grower of an album for me too-I didn't care for it all that much when it first came out.
