Why does everyone think Romeo is such a bad name? I don't think it is. The only problem I see with it is the obvious Romeo and Juliette thing, but so what?...and last week all you people complained when someone wanted to see a photo of Tico's baby, saying that their children should be left out of the public, but you complain because you don't like the name.

It's getting boring now though. You don't like it, you don't have to keep telling us.

No theres a big difference. Having a light hearted conversation about baby names is not the same as writing a post, asking to see pictures of someones kids.

I don't think it's a joke and Romeo Jon is the boy's name. I don't see what is so wrong with it. Yes, it's very different but you will get used to it. Imagine Jon and Dorothea reading this (of course, I know that they don't!!) and seeing people think that the name they gave their child is an April Fool's Joke?!?!? They will be thinking, Um, no it's his actual name.

I think the name is the greatest. I think it fits a Jovi kid to a "T." All I can add is: Rock the *f* on, Jon.

It's not THAT bad of a name..not like Aquanetta or Va'Gina or twins Orangello & Lemongello...

I just don't like the way it sounds together.

I'd doubt they would be hurt IF they read it.
Just like the parents who named their kids those three names above should have expected, it that's what they want to name their kids..they can. Can you tell that I'm still in shock over Va'Gina
And we can joke about it.

Come on, let's come up with some strange names that parents have named their children...
So far Mouse and Becky have the best (or worst...).

here is one, that i remember Itty Bitty. Yep, that was her actual name.

I was hoping it was an April Fool's day joke too but I saw this in the NY Post today:

Rock hunk Jon Bon Jovi and his wife, Dorothea, welcomed their fourth child on Monday morning. Romeo Jon (9 pounds, 7 ounces.) joins Stephanie Rose, 10, Jesse James Louis, 9, and Jacob Hurley, almost 2 ...

Poor kid.

I cannot believe what I am reading here ... why not calling their Kid Romeo Jon .. what 's the problem ??? I am amazed to see how some are so narrow minded ... Romeo is a name for hundreds years .. you like it or not it's ok but don't show too much stupidity by saying things like Romeo is a gay name or whatever .... I am really embarassed to read so much stupidity ...

some ppl here really need to open their mind not everyone on earth has to be called Peter or John ....

I don't think it's a joke at all but I think that maybe some BJ fans ARE the jokes themselves ....

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. If people think the name is stupid, it is their right to do so. If you don't like it, ignore the thread. Just because people don't agree with you, doesn't make them narrow minded or stupid. Maybe you are the one who needs to open your mind a bit.
