To date there has not been a song [besides She Don't Know Me] on a Bon Jovi album that was not written entirely or partially by Jon.

Not entirely true!

One Wild Night 2001 has two covers on it doesn't it?

"One Wild Night 2001" is only a remix of the Crush song, still the credit for the composition goes to the original writers.

The album 1985-2001 One Wild Night had two covers on it, Rockin In The Free World and I Dont Like Mondays. I'm not being picky merely stating Fact Mr Sambo.

Yeah - Jon was saying the lyric came from a movie (Joe Black or something) & when he heard the words 'Thank u for Loving Me' he immediately knew they had another song in the making.

Mike
It's from Meet Joe Black, the movie where Brad Pitt played the Grim Reaper. He told the female lead "Thank you for loving me" and Jon thought it was an incredibly brave and meaningful thing to say. He said he had the chorus by the time he got out of the theater and really had no intention of collaborating with anyone to finish it, but when he got together with Richie they didn't have any other ideas to work on, so he brought that one out and they finished it together.
