They don't go for sales, they go for quality. The Hindu Times is one of their greatest tunes ever, and I don't think any Oasis fan disagrees about that, and Stop Crying Your Heart Out and Hung In A Bad Place are all tracks which can become classics for the fans from Oasis.

But Bounce has absolutely no song on it which can become a classis. Yes, Undivided might be one of those tracks, but since it relates to Sept. 11, I doubt if they will still play it in five years. Everyday, Bounce and Right Side Of Wrong are decent songs, but in five years they'll only be playing Everyday, because it was their first single from Bounce, not because it has become such an anthem or a classic.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
I think that Bounce, Hook me up and Everyday will be sing in five years. The distance will be played also, and Undivided. Why not?
They are playing Wild in the streets, a surprise for me.

I thought Just Push Play was pretty good. Maybe it's because I can't tell a drum loop from a regular drum. Yes, I don't know the difference and I realize that I am pathetic.
Just Push Play was nice, but have you listened to Get A Grip or Nine Lives ? Those albums are way better. Though Nine Lives is also not as good as everyone hoped...Oh and by the way, you are pathetic...

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

If Aerosmith, in 2000, will release a album with the sound of Get a Grip, or Bon Jovi another Slippery...Itīs not the time.
The 80īs were the 80īs. We are in 21th Century. Bon Jovi release Bounce, Aerosmith release Just Push Play and Def Leppard release X.
The bands evolve. Itīs natural.

But they could release better albums.

Aloha !

I know I'm not living in the eighties anymore. But Definitely Maybe from Oasis is from 1994, and Heathen Chemistry is from 2002. They don't sound the same. Oasis also has evolved. I don't want the sound from the eighties back. If I would I could never like Just Older or Mystery Train (sorry, I like it) but it's just that I think the drum computers suck. It's like they can't make a decent rocksong without the drumcomputers or the sampling.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Ok, Ok, I agree with you in something. I really really like that Bon Jovi will perform an album like "These Days" with songs with beautiful lyrics and good songs (and written by Jovi and Sambora). I donīt know why they work with Carlsson, for example.

I think they want to expand their horizons by learning new technology and how to utilize it. They certainly cannot do it on their own. That's why they need guys like Martin and Carlsson.

Sure. But I have been listening to These Days today and Bounce, and the difference is...I like Bounce but "These Days" is a work of art. If you can do a work of art, why do only a "good work"?
Itīs the way Iīm thinking now...

"Art" is subjective. It seems to me that the band is very proud of Bounce.
I don't remember them being proud of Crush like that.

I have heard them say that they are proud of All they have, because when they do something, they do it because they wanted to do it.
But, see the poll of drycounty.com:
These Days 3x%
Bounce 5%

31% These Days
7% Bounce.
At this moment.
I agree with the results of the poll. These Days>Keep the faith or New Jersey>Slippery>Bounce>Crush>7800>Bon Jovi
