errrrr

Slippery is like one of the biggest acclaimed albums of the 80's
Nope. SWW pretty much changed the music scene in the 80s but most critics hated it when it came out. Have you read the Rolling Stone review on SWW? It was hilarious!

I dont read those silly music mags on the basis of the fact that they suck. Even if it wasnt acclaimed when it was released, nowadays its regarded as a classic

Exactly. SWW became a classic in spite of the critics. They hate Bon Jovi because Bon Jovi is the living proof that the critics are not as knowlegeable as they want to appear and not as influential as they want to appear.

if we're going back to U2....the reason the critics love them and specifically bono is because hes got too much 2 say about everything. he thinks he's the incarnate of jesus and besides humping monkeys he thinks he can save the world.....

bon jovi on the other hand, and more namely jon, have a pretty boy lead singer and the girls love them....maybe if jon stops trying to look young and decides to become a messiah the critics will love him too.

critics hate success for good lookin bands.....nuff sed

U2 is a very good looking band. And girls like Bono too. So it's not that.

Critics will never love Bon Jovi. They used to wear spandex, long hair and make up, remember? They also proved the critics wrong and for that they will never be forgiven. I think Jon realizes that too. If the Rolling Stone magazine will ever give Bon Jovi more that 3 stars for anything, the hell will freeze.
