Hmm...this isn't the Q & A forum at Bonjovi.com..but anyway...

There are no hard answers yet, but I'll wager it's a live acoustic album.

You have people here who started up speculation that it's an album with acoustic versions done in the studio. Frankly..I find that f***ing stupid. Just know that the speculation regarding such a bore of an album came out of people here...not official news. The magic of such an album comes out of the fact that it is being performed live and not polished and spit shined in the studio. There is no official info released regarding the source, be it in the studio or live performance.

So far there have been live acoustic performances at Yokohama, Kiel, and Minneapolis. The Yokohama performance was the largest scale one, being filmed and the most songs performed. Great set list too if you ask me. Unfortunately, it isn't worthy of being documented. Jon was sick with a very bad cold.

An acoustic album/video is a chance for the band to really show their chops. For gods sake..they practically started the whole MTV Unplugged saga. Just about anyone who watched the MTV Awards performance back in 1989 were amazed by Jon and Richies voices and playing. It's not unrealistic to expect just as high of standard of a performance now or even higher. Frankly, I'm tired of them botching these kinds of chances. Wanted Dead Or Alive was known to be phenomenal done live, acoustically or otherwise. Then they go and release One Wild Night Live with possibly one of the most boring and uninspired live versions of Wanted they could ever choose. Plus they made a video out of it. Please.

Anyway....just keep on hanging on and official news will surface.
