Default Question

I was talking to my friend today, and she said she heard something on the radio about Bon Jovi having an album that was all covers of other people's songs. She said it was like a tribute album or something and the title had something to do with Led Zeppelin.

I, of course, had NO idea what she was talking about, so I was like, "They definitely don't have a album like that..." but she said she heard it on the radio. Of course, they might have been talking about TLFR and she heard it wrong or something, but I told her I would ask you guys, so do have any idea about this album they could be talking about?

No they don't have an album like this.

Jon joined such a projekt once with one song called "Levon" which is published on a tribute CD to Elton John but it's only Jon and only one song.

There is a CD out the other way around, it's a tribute CD to Bon Jovi where other artists, for example someone from the Scorpions, play BJ-songs.

I haven't heard the album because I prefer the original. But I've seen the CD in several CD-stores.

Covered Dead Or Alive:
Covered Dead Or Alive - Dead or Alive: Bon Jovi... Covered Dead Or Alive - Dead or Alive: Bon Jovi...
Is that what you mean?

I'm not really sure but I think I mean another one. The one I meant incl. someone from the Scorpions and a few more known names. I don't know anyone from the people who are mentioned there. And this CD seems to be a live-CD, the one I meant is not live.

When I look at amazon.de there seem to be several tribute CDs out. I'm not really sure how the name of the one I meant is. I think it was something with only "tribute to Bon Jovi".

Wait, whats the whole Stairway to Heaven/Highway to Hell thing? that sounds right actually...

Okay I'll be more specific about what I was talking about. There was this thing on the radio that my friend heard and they were playing a Bon Jovi song and the people had to call in and guess what it was or what album it was from. One hint was that this song was performed by Bon Jovi, but not necessarily written by them. The other hint was that the album name had a Led Zeppelin reference. I think the last hint was that it was off an album full of other people's covers. This is driving me crazy because I am pretty sure there is no such thing and my friends like, "You don't know something about Bon Jovi, admit it!!"

I am getting a new idea that like it is on some album that isn't really a BJ album, but like one with a lot of different artists. I'm not sure though...I know it isn't the tribute to Bon Jovi, because they sung the song.

I think it was a compilation album where Bon Jovi covered The Boys are Back in Town.
