Explain to me again how it's the radio's fault.... Bon Jovi make an album, Bon Jovi promote an album, the album doesn't do well..... Nobody's fault but the band (inc management, promoters e.t.c)

If they "show" that Bounce is a good CD then they should talk to David Coperfield first, he's good at illusions!!!!!!!!!

OK, for starters, no one is blaming the tools. (Though, many of you here on this site are, indeed, tools.) The speculation among FANS on this site that the reason they're going on QVC is because the album is not doing well is just that... from this board... how is it that subjective opinions are turning into presumptions of truth?

As for promoters, they have nothing to do with albums. Promoters promote concerts... but don't let terminology or facts cloud your opinions. As for radio, it is a MAJOR problem for them. When's the last time YOU heard the band on radio... it's a corporate phenomenon at the moment. Remember that the next time you're forced to listen to a remake of "The Tide Is High" for 400 times on UK radio instead of dozens of other artists making real music.

Some of you are forgetting (or perhaps some of you are unaware) that Bon Jovi products have been sold on QVC before--specifically during the These Days era.

whats the big deal where they sell the cd Its their JOB..no one works for free and no one wants to see something that they work hard on FAIL if this is what they have to do to get ppl other than the die hard fans to listen/buy the album...then thats what they have to do. call it a sell out,commercial whoring,whatever...its a dog eat dog world,and jovi has to get hungrier

I think you missed the point, Bon Jovi's tools aren't talent, or ability, or the album, but as you said, the radio, posters, TV shows, i.e getting the album about.... The workman is the band or the album.


I don't mean just promoters.... But when I see Bon Jovi on a breakfast program PROMOTING the album, what are they doing? There is a promotino team involved in the album, who are working on things like advertising, TV apearances e.t/c/

My opinions aren't clouded, I've always had this line on Bounce, it hasn't changed at all. I'm not saying that my opinion is the truth, it can't be on something like this, nobodies can. The fact is, I don't like the album, and I don't see what other people like in the album. That's not to say they DON"T see something good in it, but I'm not going to say it's a great album because other people think it is!

As for the radio, isn't it up to them???? If they don't like Bounce they won't play it, if I was a DJ I wouldn't! I only actually listen to two radio stations, Planet Rock, and BBC 6 for Dream ticket..... I suggest if you don't like the radio you are listenening to change the station.
