As much as i will be dissapointed that he might not be at the dublin concert,i can totally understand why they will not cancel the gigs.
Besides the majority of the concert paying public think that Bon Jovi is just Jon and his band and as someone else posted out once they get their Prayer and Wanted then they will prob come away happy.
I hope Richie will be there for the European leg but if not pehaps we might get a bit of a drum solo from Tico,David singing in these arms and a few cuts from Destination anywhere.
I wont be selling my tickets as i intend on having fun with or without Richie.

Well said. I find it it ironic that I actually planned and bought FC tixs ahead of time and this is what happens!!

I was hoping at least one of them might get something out of the ordinary. I really can't imagine that happening now. Sure, I'll lose the money I've already spent (especially since my tickets are from the fan club so I can't even try to sell them as I wouldn't be there to pick them up), but at least I wouldn't be spending 3 vacation days and more money on travel.

As much as i love the other guys, Bon Jovi is not Bon Jovi without Richie. I don't want to see them without him.

Will they though? Prayer without Richie's talk box? Someone else (God forbid- Bobby) trying to play Richie's part on Wanted? It will be terrible.

Perhaps that is the nub of the Problem?

At least Richie's situation shows to those interested to read the messages and reactions on the net a good vision of how rotten human nature can be .....

I will do all the shows as planned with or without him ...I guess to see the band without him is going to hurt but also to show what it is without him ( and I don't want to miss a beat of that) ... you truly understand how lucky you are once you are not lucky anymore ...To know the band without Richie will bring something - probably unhappy- but at the end of the day it will most certainly show us all that bon jovi without richie will never be bon jovi ... whatever the name of the band SAYS , bon jovi is not just jon and it is not about just firing the guitarist. Deal with it , that guy is half the creative process of the band too.

I'm reading all these posts about people wanting to sell their tickets because of Richie.......... Please people, do not do that. That is absolutely ridicules.

Maybe I just have a different point of view but I would absolutely still go.

First, It's historic to see a show w/ someone else on guitar. This actually sparks more interest to me. A. Maybe we'll get a change in set B. Let's see how he does...... Bottom line. Permanetly? Absolutely not! A couple shows? Sorry, I think it's cool/different.

Second, 95% of the people aren't going to even know the difference. Even w/out the talk box. Once you're at the show, there is so much other stuff going on. Yea you'll notice it a time or two but it's not going to effect the band or the night.

Third, I think it'll bring some realism into the band. Let them make a few mistakes. It'll get them off auto-pilot. Again, I think it's cool

Fourth, You'll still have a good time. It's a night out. Good times with great music. You can't beat that.

Unless you're just a Richie fan, I think anyone who sells their tickets are out of their minds. Sorry. Just My Opinion

No, it's not. These people payed to see BJ and IF he isn't there it's not BJ but whatever. And they didn't pay to see whatever.

Richie not being there affects the night big time. Not only his guitar play but also his voice is missing then. Just look at the videos of Puerto Rico and you'll see.

I've bought my tickets to see/hear Richie Sambora on the guitar and doing vocals and not some other guy. He is the main reason I go to Bon Jovi shows so I'm totally gutted at the moment. I absolutely can't imagine being at a show without him.
