Managed to narrow it down to 8, but selecting from those got difficult. Also, only went for album tracks as I consider demos/b-sides to be off limits (if that wouldn't be the case, Nothing is a given top 5 track). So, here goes:

It's My Life: It's generic, it's straightforward, but it's also catchy as h*ll providing both in-your-face energy and optimism. It can't be overlooked. It's the Prayer of a new generation.

Welcome To Wherever You Are: I don't know why, but this song just resonates with me. The power, the melody, the energy. Makes me happy every time I hear it.

Just Older: The lyrics, the message, the optimism, the energy. It's an immensely catchy track that reminds me of songs such as SIBSN.

Any Other Day: I'm reminded of a semi-structured jam session when listening to this song. It holds great lyrics, musical drive and a feeling of fun.

Superman Tonight: I was torn between four songs from this album as I've always held about half of this album in quite high regard over the years and to me that half has stood the test of time. But squeezing my thumbs, ST is the track that cuts it slightly above the rest. It really is an awesome song.

So there you have it...

1. Have A Nice Day
The song that got me into Bon Jovi, lots of attitude and as mentioned before - a great way to start an album.

2. We Don't Run
Feels like HAND v2, love the attitude and the chorus.

3. Misunderstood
Love the lyrics. It's speaks to me as a should've, would've, could've type of song about making mistakes.

4. I Want To Be Loved
Again, the lyrics. Song helped me a lot with personal struggles.

5. Brokenpromiseland
Uplifting, powerful anthem, love it.

Teardrop to the Sea
The best proof that JBJ still has a lot of great things to record.

Two Story Town
If this song could have returned to the set list in 2017, it could be easily the highlight of the next tour. But this time, JBJ can leave his guitar and concentrate on singing, because he's got 2 guitarists on his back.

Any Other Day
Some kind of Jovi magic here. Amazing live, especially with final solos. Always blow me away.

Next 100 Years
There is no other Jovi song, which would have involved so many musicians. We got full 64-piece orchestra, David Campbell as a conductor and of course 5 members of the band. Great guitar solo, great lyrics, just great song.

(You Want to) Make a Memory
It begins innocently, but develops into a magnificent ballad with one of the best outros ever recorded by the band.

Tough call. Most obvious candidates are:

1. It's My Life
2. Have A Nice Day

Then other must-haves for me include:

3. Love's The Only Rule
4. Any Other Day

And tough one between Just Older, Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning (I just love those feel-good BJ tunes, I think this is what they do best (at least since 2000) ), and:

5. That's What The Water Made Me

Good thread.

Have A Nice Day
This one's my fav from the "live your life"-lead singles, and it's got a great chorus and riff.

Misunderstood
The thing is: They wouldn't have done a song like this in the 90s - but it's a great song. So instead of stuff that sounds like they would have made more of the track before, I'd prefer to have this one on the track listing.

Undivided
The last track the band did that sounded like hard rock. Bounce's title track is also very good, but this one's better live.

Will edit in the rest later on. So far, I'm torn between Dirty Little Secret, I'm With You and I Am.

It's My Life - Regardless of what it spawned this was perfect pop rock. Prefer the dave bascombe mix with extra talk box. Beggars belief it's now 16 years old and has stood the test of time well.

Thorn In My Side - If only there was an album version with the extended outro they played live it would be perfect. Miles better than anything else on the circle.

Have A Nice Day - It may be an overproduced wall of noise at time but it's a thumping jovi track with swagger and attitude that is sadly missing these days.

Fingerprints - I just love the waltz like guitar solo, 1-2-3, 1-2-3, I just think it's a beautiful song and a real highlight. If there's more like this, teardrop and we don't run I'd be more than satisfied.

Any Other Day - Classic Jovi missed out by the masses by being an album track on lost highway. Would have been a quintessential BJ single. Always takes me back to being in The O2 in 2007 when Sambora returned from rehab. Look who's back?!

I am a huge fan of 2000s Bon Jovi, so I am enjoying this thread very much. The first three songs were easy to pick:

We Weren't Born to Follow
That's What the Water Made Me
Whole Lot of Leavin'

Now, when I first began reading this forum, I was surprised because it seemed like all of my favourite songs were being criticized. Sometimes it was even the songs above, but to highlight the difference between our tastes, the rest two picks of mine are:

Captain Crash and the Beauty Queen from Mars
Who Says You Can't Go Home

I wish there were 10 songs to nominate! Now the closest runner-ups in my papers are No Apologies and I'm Your Man
