There's a few second hand CD stores in London but the days of expecting to find great rare stuff are long gone. These store owners have internet as well and as soon as someone drops something rare they'd rather sell it on eBay. Every second hand CD store does this. At best you'll find some older CD maxi singles from the nineties and early zero's.
In London town Reckless Records near Picadilly Circus is your best bet. Most other shops cater towards indie music or world music. It's been a while since I've been there though. Have fun.
