From the looks of this thread, most people here like/love Real Life. And I've seen a negative vibe about Crush on here. And since when does a song's popularity effect how good it is?
When did I say Crush singles were smash hits? I hope you have a very very good reason for putting words in other people's mouth.

You never did. I said they were hardly smash hits, because you appeared to be using them being more succesful than Real Life as something to back up your hate for the song.

And as if by magic that happened this morning!

I remember buying the single as soon as it was released. Iīve always loved the song even though it may sound a bit crafted. The influence of DC can be heard very clearly.

Anyway, for me, itīs classic Bon Jovi. If I remember correctly, the song was written by JB & DC, Richie wasnīt mentioned in the credits.

I really like it. The lyrics, though extremely cheesy, are really good. The songs alright, but i could have used a really good guitar solo. Overall, good song.

Yeppp it was written before the band got back together to write songs for Crush. I agree with hearing the DC involvment.

I really don't like the song. No idea why I just never liked it.

I had never heard it until the box set came out, but I do really like it. Definately one of their better post TD tracks, IMO.
