Well I'd guess it's because the material that is included on the boxset was recorded when they were on the Mercury label

Mercury was much better anyway. As far as im concerned Mercury didnt stop releases that the band themselves wanted. universal influenced a lot of the decisions made in tha last few years. They suck bigtime imo. I am glad they're back on Mercury, at least for the time being...

It's like when one large company owns several different shops, like I think Morrisons and Safeway are under the same owners now or something, but still have their own names, not both changed to the same.

So why is it released under the name of mercury when that company doesn't exist? Mercury, at the time when it did exist was a polygram company, not universal.
