KTF is special to me because it is the very first Bon Jovi album I went out and bought. I clearly remember going to buy it after a CYO basketball game when I was in 6th grade. I didn't know who Bon Jovi were or any of their songs but I bought the album (on casette!) for one song: Bed of Roses. I was captivated by that song the first time I heard it on the radio. I had never heard a song that had such a gorgeous melody and such meaningful, insanely beautiful lyrics. I was never expecting to love the album as much as I did and I never dreamed I would make the connection with the band that I did. But after KTF I became obsessed with Bon Jovi (especially Jon in the beginning) and bought the back catalog and have never looked back. Who knows if I would have become a fan had it not been for that album?

I Believe, In These Arms, and Dry County were all songs I remember LOVING and playing to death back when I first got it.

And I don't care if it's considered cheesy~ I also LOVE the album and live version of I Want You..

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3
