thanx, thats a bit quick ..... how can he recover that quickly and be ok.... they outside support perhaps someone will be with him all the time t oenusre he doesnt drink so he can perform in the BJ shows.

this just sucks.
This just proves that he either will be crawling back in the Bottle in no time, or that he could have checked himself into rehab after the PR show, which leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

i know a lot of people paid money to that show, but im sorry to me a persons heath comes before anything else!, yes it is a short stay but from my experience the hard stuff is only starting now for him, temption is only now going to start to really kick in but im more than sure hes strong enough to get over it.

outside support could be just his friends or maybe support from a professional that just checks in every now and again see if he's coping, im sure if richie had wanted to play the show he would have, im sure u would have had a worse taste in your mouth if he had shown up drunk and recked the show

If his health would have been in grave danger, or if cheked himself into rehab pissed drunk then I completely understand, and you're right.

Rehab isn't something one goes and says, "ey I want to do it now, or maybe later!"

ButI hope you understand my way of thinkin and it's selfish thoughts that pop into ones head first. meh!!
BTW I'm glad he seems to be doing better.

ooooo dont get me wrong!! im not having a go, and to be honest if i had paid to see him, id probs be thinking the same!!

see the way i take him going in is, that he did under preform at the unplugged show, im sure not as bad as reports, hes seen himself and thought, "Man, i have a problem here, better hit it on the head now before it gets worse" so maybe he might have kept it on for a week more!!

but i think it was a case of a guy playing for 25+ years at the top of his game, and then all this shit happenes, he doesnt give a gud show and he feels extremly bad and wants to gwet back on top again !!
