I thought it was crap , not long enough and didnt realy talk about much . no point him being there realy. I mean frank asked him about his willy getting bigger and strip clubs but thats about it . He should have had more time and been able to talk more about the album. Sod boring cricket its a stupid game anyway , Frank should have consentrated on Jon much more!!

I doubt it was frank skinner who allocated the last 6mins of the show to jbj, i would imagine Frank would have liked a longer interview also.
I think it was just aflying last minute visit to promote the album.

I even managed to predict what they'd discuss, and as soon as Frank mentioned that people used to throw bottles of piss on stage as some sort of homage, I turned to my girlfriend and said, "The pigs head story's coming out again...". And sure enough, it did. A bit dull, would've rathered seeing Jon (and the rest of the band) on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, usually a much better show.

It wasn't a flying visit because people who were there, said that the actual interview was about 30 minutes! They cut the thing to shreds!

I thought it seems randomly edited, I didn't think he'd appear for just such a short interview. The way Frank mentioned the album seemed too brief, I'd have expected them to talk about it more. Perhaps someone who was there can tell us what else they spoke about.

why would they cut it so short.... weird because the cricket players all seemed last minute and thrown together. Was Jons 30 min onterview so crap that they had to bring the cricket on ? Hope soemone can tell us what Jon was talking about for the other 20 mins.

I went to the Frank Skinner taping and the interview with Jon was about 30 mins.
Frank played a clip of the R2-D2 christmas song, and took the mickey out of the lyrics of the song saying no way could R2-D2 fit down the chimney cause of the shape of the legs. He gave Jon a plastic R2-D2.
Jon talked of his marriage, Frank was saying about him marrying his childhood sweetheart and he was saying how Dorothea was very grounded and would happily live somewhere smaller.
He talked of his children and said how he doesn't keep any discs or awards in the house he said that they try to be as normal as possible. He talked of Stephanie coming home from nursery and telling him youre Jon Bon Jovi and he said yes, and you are stephanie bongiovi, and she said no! youre JON BON JOVI! my teacher told me!
He talked a little of HAND saying about the meaning of it, he said in Japan they hadn't got it at all! they thought it meant literally "have a nice day!"
He talked of women he thought were attractive, liz Hurley, can't remember the others!
He said he would take Kate moss back to the states and get her some rehab!
He said about finding a fan in the boot once.
Frank asked him how everyone knew he would be there and he said they know everything about me they know more than i know myself, i think they are psychic.
He said the skinnerettes were a "real band" and he would like to be like them!
He talked about his bar maybe for a little longer than was shown.
can't remember too much else really!

thanks saz, wodner why they cut it down so much then. I certainly would have rather listened to that then 30 mins of cricket, really thought they went overboard with this segment.
