Probably just enjoying their time off
Hmh... can they be called a ROCK band when only one of the members actually still rocks?

Richie should slit from the band!!!!! If musical proof wasn't enough then the above should really make him wake!
They just came off a world tour.
Are they not allowed to take a break?
They DO have lives outside the entertainment industry you know.
They have families and other interests.
The box set is being worked on.
I am sure Jon and Richie ARE writing when they can.
Just be glad this break won't be as long as the last one. Wasn't that like 5 years????

They should take break till 2006 and meanwhile they should try to relese solo album, that would be cool.

I think the reason why they haven't broken up is the fact that they have their own lives, interests, hobbies, ect. apart from the band. They need these breaks to keep Bon Jovi alive. And they have families you know.
I read that Jon and Richie are currently writing, so maybe there will be another Jovi album not long from now. Richie is also writing some solo stuff.

The last time I had more than 2 days off was at Christmas. In fact 2 days off is a real rarity for me at the moment. Study leave doesn't count.

Well that sucks Mike.
But, Jon is not really "off". He just isn't touring or in the studio right now. he is working on other projects, football, acting, etc.

Same with the rest of the guys.
Richie mentioned in a recent interview about a House of Blues he is opening somehwere in LA. I don't remember the details. I am sure he is busy with that too.

He's done a couple of acting jobs (American Dreams and Chris Isaak Show) and appearances on the Craig Kilbourne show to promote both of them.
He did an internet chat a while back.
He's building a hotel with a House of Blues and mentioned that on one of the television appearances, so it's not just a rumor.
He's also talked about his involvement with the football team.
He's been writing some solo stuff and he and Jon have been writing together. I imagine both of them are having a look/listen at stuff in the vaults preparing for the box set too.

Ok NOW I remember hearing/reading all of that. Sorry, I have a hard time remembering what I am doing, nevermind what the band members are doing LOL

LOL Yeah, I do too lately. How I managed to remember all that useless info is a mystery since I couldn't tell you what I wore to work on Monday.
