That's because all women have strange habits.

Yeah the modern Bon Jovi ballads suck! It's almost like they're trying to rival Westlife with some of those songs. I wish they would still create amazing power ballads like a rock band, rather than soppy, lovey dovey Westlife type ballads.

I agree on the ballad part, past ballads are much better and also the lyrics from older ballads aren't as cheezy and me-so-happy-I'm-in-love as recent offerings like TYFLM or AALY as examples. Older ballads like Bed Of Roses, Always or TAALS actually more heart-felt, down to earth sad lyrics. Which in Bon Jovi's case work much better! That said though, I think that TYFLM is their best ballad offering since 2000 and onward and a song I like, just not as much as older ballads.

About the "Crush" album in general I think it's a good album and have some great songs on it. My favourites being IML (how can it not be?), Next 100 Years, Just Older, Captain Crash and OWN. Then there are those mid-tempo/ballad crap songs like I Got The Girl, Mystery Train and Two Story Town (for me this is BJ hitting rock-bottom). SIIS and She's a Mystery are actually quite interesting songs and I think both are in all fareness ok but Save The World could have been replaced by something else. Grade-wise, I give Crush a 7/10.

I have my hopes up for the next album. I think "Bounce" was a better offering than "Crush" in one way, because the general feel of that album was more rock than Crush was. So if they evolve down that line and also have some influences from some of the rock tracks from the Box Set, they have potential of making something good. I'll just have to wait and see..

I'm gonna go against the flow a bit here and say that, for me, Crush is the Jovi's second best album - after These Days obviously.

I love all the tracks except She's A Mystery. Good song-writing and great songs all round. Add the Demo's on a bonus CD and you have a great double album.

Not my favourite. IML was fun but heard it way too much. Next 100 years pretty good but not too often & don't like the live version (at least the one i have). Just older very good live .. album version not that good... i dunno maybe overproduced & if that's the right word then the whole album is overproduced if you ask me. Well that were the highlights i geuss. The only other highlight is Neurotica and that was only a bonus song.
