sorry for my ignorance but what are these? parts of a song?
Inner Ear Monitor I think it is, basically the ear pieces that they wear during shows to hear the music is on a radio frequency so it is possible to tune into this frequency and record it. Each member of the band will have a specific mix in their IEM, so if there is a recording of those 4 then it should be good enough of a mix, perhaps mixed with a decent audience one too.
Thanks!

a few quick follow up notes

Hey Sonic, lets see a list of your masters, oh I meant shows you had taped yourself, not men who had put you in a collar, but I can understand your confusion.
I tape and trade as I see fit, I keep confidences, and post to be helpful, not to boost an ego or a post count.

So far I have part of one feed. It is the one they are calling Hugh's IEM.
I have no idea if it really his IEM, just basing it on thier suppositions. It is the most even, full and normal sounding of the mixes they scanned.
The pieces they are sending me have an odd bit of noise every 34 seconds or so which they say is not on the master. These guys are very new to taping so still have some bugs to work out I think.

As far as I know there is no audience recording of this show. There is one other guy on this board who might know better about that , but I have never seen him post about this kind of stuff.

From the past I believe Jon's IEMs are:
one ear medium mix, louder drums
one ear lower mix, loud Jon

People who tape this way most often use an ADAT or one or more DAT decks in a van outside but close by the venue with strong directional antennae as well as frequency scanners, unless you get a chance to scan during soundcheck it is often hard to tell what channel is what without a bit of detective work. Sometimes the frequencies get changed as well for one reason or another, or the scanner can't get all of them and you have to pick from what is available. Buffalo 03 IEM is a prime example, of a recording that was almost right in this regard.

No newer news about the new album, I have been very busy with other things, But still no title or new deal with IDJ.

All very nice, and you know very well that I don't tape shows. Hence, I don't even collect bootlegs. All your posts look like an attempt to boost your ego but as long as you don't put any sources in them they're all just stories anyone could make up.

When the FSF still existed over here you claimed to have all the shows from the Bounce tour, someone requested Bed Of Roses from a specific show and you said you had it, but didn't want to share it because of the terrible quality, and you didn't want a bootleg going around on your name that had that terrible quality. Another reason not to believe any of your stories, unless you're one of those "traders" that only keeps the interesting stuff for himself.

So as long as you don't come out with something valuable like this (you could post just a 1 minute snippet to prove that you actually have something) your stories about the IDJ, the album title, the new single and all your other news stories are bullsh1t to me and to many others.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
