That is mean!!
I love both of the albums. Each album represents a different side on Richie's life. He can't say that for Stranger. At least he could have shown a little respect to Eric Clapton.

Lets not forget that he also cold him "semi-talented member of popular group", "ill-conceived solo albums", "dispenser of derivative", "most of the album resembles the blowsy pop-metal of Whitesnake on a really bad day". His "strained cry" in WDOA wasn't he's only finest hour!! And at the end of the day.. what's wrong with Whitesnake?? Here I Go Again or Is This Love are classic!!
