Thank goodness I don't really like that song and can gladly skip it when my parents are around

I remember my mate’s parent's giving him, his brother and myself a lift to somewhere in the car. I brought a SWW tape along. Social Disease came on and I can remember everyone going silent, the uncomfortable looks on everyone's face was hilarious.

I used to do that, but now I've realised that my parents will hate my tastes in music, no matter what so I don't do it anymore

I don't do it because they may not like the song, but because that beginning is embarrassing to listen to with them around

While most people think of Slippery When Wet at the mention of the name Bon Jovi, I consider it only their third best album. It just lacks the depth of NJ and KTF. Still, it's a pretty strong album with a great choice of singles. You Give Love a Bad Name was the second Bon Jovi song I ever heard and I got this feeling of "hey, this is cool!"

And then there's Livin' on a Prayer. Name one Bon Jovi fan who does not like this song. It's brilliant! The first time I heard that talkbox, I was riding in my mom's car through Michigan after a slight rain storm and I had this big smile on my face. Ah, I remember it well.
