Even though tracks like Prayer, Bad Name and Wanted have been played to death they still sound fresh and I still get a buzz out of listening to them...thats the strength of the tracks, they are timeless classics and part of rock n roll history. Its arguablly the quintessential 80s rock album (even though I personally prefer New Jersey). The track that I play the most off Slippery is I'd Die For You....I think that lyrically and musically its a real gem - one of my all time favourites and should have been a big hit. Any of the songs could have been huge singles actually, such is the strength of the material....the only songs that I don't think are truly amazing are Without Love and Social Disease, but they're still pretty damn good.... there's not much else to say about Slippery that hasn't already been said though, so I guess I'll shut up now.
