Default Burning bridges album

Hi, reengaging with Bon jovi after a time away. I’m really impressed with this album, songs like we don’t run are really good, and the closing goodbye to mercury is really amusing too lol. What’s others thoughts?

I like Fingerprints. The outro guitar solo is excellent. We Don't Run is a good single. Burnimg Bridges is a funny song.

I love the album. it's one of my all time Bon Jovi favorites number 5 album in my current BJ album ranking. My favorite tracks are Who Would You Die For?, A Teardrop to the Sea, I'm Your Man. Japanese bonus track Take Back the Night is my least favorite, but I never skip a single track when listening to this album.

This record was a breath of fresh air. Some forgotten gems on there.

It was supposed to be a throw away album just to complete a contract obligation. However, I have always really loved it!

Since it was a "throw away album" to fill out their contract I didn't actually bother buying it until 2-3 years after it was released, but I was pleasantly surprised by the material when I finally got my hands on it.

Fingerprints and Who Would You Die For are top notch Bon Jovi, 10/10 songs. Pretty dumb that they didn't include those on any other records, whenever they were written.

Teardrop and We Don't Run are in the "second best" group of songs along with Life is Beautiful, even though I don't like the Nashville sound on that last one, it's still a strong song overall.

The rest are average but ok songs, worthy of a B-Side album. Saturday Night Gave Me Sunday Morning is the only one that's trash and I always skip, it's too much like whatever the Nickelback song they copied it from.

Overall, I ranked it higher than everything post Crush probably because it's only 10 songs long and not oversaturated with forgettable fillers.

Gotta Be Somebody

Still smiling at this given it wasn't even the most obvious copy on the album

Was that the Miley Cyrus thing from the piano ballad?

Burning Bridges has somereally nice songs (I do like Saturday Night to be honest), the rest is just okay. For a throwaway record, it was certainly better than you'd expect it to be, but it's not better than the Richie stuff.
