I really like the album, but I imagine much of that is due to it being the first album I was old enough to be aware of when it released. I agree that a main issue with songs like WLOL is not the fact I don't like the songs, but they are really overplayed.

Cool thread. I read someone saying that a thread on LH comes up every now and then. I suppose this means this album surely is a mark in BJ's carreer.

I've always liked it. As many of you, the first part is very strong and unfortunately it gets a lot weaker towards the end. For those who bought the vynil version - the B side won't probably get played as much.
'till we ain't strangers anymore is probably the exception on the B side.
And indeed - Put the boy back in cowboy - is a great track. Never understood why this is on the Japanese version of the album since this is a song that screems USA all over the place.

I must say - as a european - i do love country. It's one of those genres few people listen to over here, but I just love it. For Bon Jovi to incorporate some influences of country into their music feels natural to me because I also often feel that lots of great rock-country songs would be great songs for Bon Jovi too. So Put the Boy Back in Cowboy .. absolutely an amazing track that should have been on the album ( all versions )

I wonder how we are all feeling about Bounce, Have a nice day, The Circle and What about Now these days ( as in.. by now, not the album 'These Days' - no thread needed cause that is a classic masterpiece)

I do think that it is a real good album, here it comes with Put the Boy back in cowboy and Walk like a man at the end... the circle it is not distributed here so the only thing I know is We Weren't Born to Follow (The only one for sale on iTunes Here for that album), WAN not available here. Have a Nice Day it is available CD + DVD, it is not my favorite. This House is Not For Sale no available :'( You could find all the other albums but not Bon Jovi, Destination Anywhere, Blaze of Glory, Stranger In This Town, Undiscovered Soul.

You could get some pirate copies for some of those but are not in good quality.
I am thinking to save some money to get the Blaze of Glory through eBay, is it a really good album??

This is 2019. If you are thinking of "saving some money" to get music, you should invest in subscription of a streaming service (e.g. Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Google Play, etc.) that gives you access to almost every artist ever instead of buying physical copies of albums, let alone paying for shipping from abroad.

I have no idea what is the availability of those services in India, but I would be shocked if you don't at least have a local alternative.

I did not mean to bother nobody with my comments. Sorry to you all

If you just live here, you would notice that there is no interest on any company like Universal Music to bring the artists music in here because our economy is not good. Services like Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play are almost restricted because 1 dollar for most of the people from India is a lot, but not a lot but a giant Lot. If I save some money is because I love Bon Jovi music and a physical CD is like getting closer to the band that you would never be able to see live. Have a good night you all. Love, me.

I was not bothered by your comment at all, just wanted to give some advice. Excuse my strong language.

What about local streaming services? I know China has restricted those companies, but there are local companies that offer the same service.

Your stance is admirable from a band support standpoint, but from economic sense buying music just does not make sense relative to streaming subscription, because one month costs like one album and I assume a typical person wants to listen to more than new album per month.

I think at some point my english is not that good to understand everything.

Universal Music/BMG/Waner are provided here by Sony Music more than a 80% of the international artists had been left out (I don't know if this is the right way to say it) We used to have a local Service called Deezer but because of the low interest from people to use it, even when it costed 0.03 USD. I think the big point is that a company from government controls all the copyright in India, so I think the costs for bringing services like the one you mentioned were not worthy with the high costs for copyright (I don't know if this is the right way to say it again).

When you go to a record store (there only 3), the 90% is full of local artists. in a corner, you may find international artists, you could request some albums if are not available.

I'm really pushing my parents to move out from India, there is a chance for me to get a scholarship into my college and if that happens we will move to London. until now it is just a dream

Hi, fellow Indian! No music CDs are available in our country, not even for Bollywood. I understand your fervor regarding the band as I was in a similar position about 13-14 years ago. We had CDs/cassettes [expensive] and I swear that listening to the albums with the sleeve in your hand is an experience that just can't be reproduced in today's scenario. Posters & T shirts are something that have always been accessible here. On the bright side, with the internet and digital boom, every song and info has become accessible in matter of seconds. Back when I started following the band, I couldn't just download, say, the box set in my phone whenever I wanted or view videos after videos of the band. So, you lose some, you win some!
