I wanted a name... It's easy to say "I know somone" or "my friend saw someone"...
Anyway, Jimi never played anything technically difficult. He's influence was more about the sounds he made and the way he played. Not to say that he wasn't an influencial guitarist, but he wasn't Eddie.
I'm yet to see a guitarist play "the wrong way" live. I've heard people who claim they've seen some, but I haven't seen any proof yet.
