Alec always was very dfferent compared to Jon.

I don't disagree with this and I'm aware that they don't like each other but to say how Alec feels about Jon now, thinking his a sell out, no one knows. He keeps to himself and hasn't spoken about Jon for years. They haven't spoken to each other for years. Both have changed. Alec's feeling's may not be the same in how he felt years ago.

It's obvious they're still at odds with eachother considering how they never spoke again but frankly I doubt Jon would ever speak to any of the guys again would they not be in Bon Jovi. They're just his employees and all parties are mostly satisfied with their work environment, despite all of the band wishing the band would go a different route than the one it's going now.

This is a bold statement to make and a bullshit one too.

Explain why Alec played on stage with Jovi in 2001 at Giants Stadium then?

This. What you said sounds wrong to ears. Alec's and Jon's relationship might not be the same with the rest of the band (thing that I doubt), but their relation was a crap as you state, why Jon would keep as an official member Alec as bassist just to honor him? Alec ain't part of the buisiness many years now and he isn't tend to come back. The last time that he played live was back in 2001 and will remain the last till he dies. Alec was tired & couldn't handle himself back in 1991 all this fame was too much for him so he gave it up in 1994. Also Alec won't be acceptable by a big amount of fans. Alec before quit made also many mistakes while he was performing. Eventhough If there is a chance to see Alec joining back the band, that chance would be only if Bon Jovi gets inducted in RNRHOF, thing that it's not going to be done in the near future at least. For me RNRHOF is a bullshit after all for several reasons.

Alec didn't want to have anything to do with Bon Jovi anymore, didn't want anything to do with the music business and it was his family that organized it for him and surprised him with the possibility to play Giants Stadium one more time. Alec never really had a final gig and that was his.

This story about Alec making many mistakes is a bunch of nonsense. Sure, he made mistakes but so did Richie and David, they all did. Jon saying he'd fire the bass player over a few mistakes yet he forgot the words to songs all the time doesn't make sense.

To add onto this:

I think the behind the music interview had something to do with the reconnection in 2001.

I'm not sure if it was BS when Jon said he thinks about Alec a lot but I'm sure there is a link to that interview and the '01 reunion.

IMO, I think it came down to money and I think they were just on 2 different speeds.

Alec probably though he was worth more than what Jon was paying him. Jon is a workaholic and wanted to make records and tour where Alex wanted to take it slower. Alec probably said if we are going to tour like we did for NJ and make all that money, I want a bigger cut. Jon said FU. Alec probably stuck out KTF for contractual reasons and split after that.

Richie aside, I bet the others don't make as much as you think they do. If they even play on the albums anymore, I'd bet it's under a million each for album and tour.

Calm down dude!!! That was just Rdkoppers's theory, we all have our own theories. Mine, for example, is that they all get at least 5 million bucks each per album and tour, Richie and most Jon getting the biggest slices... These are just theories.

I highly doubt Tico would be comfortable making 20 times less than his frontman. Like a lot of business deals I'm sure their contracts have been revised and signed and dealt with throughout the years with raises and what not for their loyalty and years spent playing and traveling and working their asses off in the band. So while Jon and Richie make wayyy more in the Bon Jovi machine, I doubt Tico and Dave are dealing with chump change in their own paychecks......

Exactly. I don't think the ethos is that of hungry money grabbing footballers. Jon is a fair man and the rest of the band are well looked after
