If Jon wasn't a good guy who treated people well, he wouldn't have had the same people stick with him for 30 years (band and wife).

Joking aside, this !!

There are a lot of artists who are such assholes that even though they pay very well, they just can't keep people around them for some time ... If Jon was one of them, I really really doubt that money alone would keep Richie, David, Tico and Hugh with him all this time.
