I don't think Richie had let himself go at all. You have to consider the guy is going through a divorce. I mean, what would a divorce do to you?
And he does NOT need slapping. I say that he's going fast cos he's hurting. Poor bloke. I feel bad for him. Poor darling.

Poor darling?! Yeah, he looks like he's suffering spendning time in luxury with Denise!

It's quite obvious that relationships isn't Richies strong point. He's had more famous woman than hot dinners and as soon as one relationship ends another one starts!

Jon gets a hell of a lot of stick on this board, but it's clear that he is the only 'grown up' in the band when it comes to relationships!

If that is true, then that is very very sad.

I used to think that the both of them were very 'together' parents and had the daughters best interest at heart first and foremost. Unfortunately, Richie at least has proven very poor judgment in that respect.

Your so right about kids being kids. It astounds and disgusts me when you hear about 11 and 12 year old girls being pregnant, and boys of the same being charged with rape. What's happening with this world?! When I was that age I was incredibly naive when it comes to sex and thats how it should be!

Read the signiture, it is not Richie that has done wrong it is the women that have been in his life. Am not having a go at richie, there is no need but am just worried for Richie n Ava!
omg you're a disgrace to the yorkshire population!!
how do you know he's hurting his daughter, have you asked her??? NO
as long as she knows her daddy loves her she'll be fine, leave richie alone if he's happy ava will be happy and as long as the're happy thats all that matters,
now go crawl onder a bush somewhere on baildon moor :P

But they grow up far quicker over there.
I am divorced with an 8 year old son and we live in America. I can assure you that a divorce does not necessarily mean kids understand relationships. To know that you now have two homes and your parents have other partners does not mean you know about relationships. Growing up with parents arguing doesn't teach a child anything but to argue and that relationships with conflict are 'normal'. It's not a good thing and doesn't teach anything positive/healthy about relationships.

And how could she be treated like a kid? Her mother's an actress, her fathers a rock star. She's had to grow up fast.
I don't think that the profession of one or both parents dictate how fast a kid has to grow up. In fact, I do believe that rich kids could be afforded a lifestyle that allows them to remain children for longer than kids of parents that work two jobs and have real life problems they are pre-occupied with.

As for thinking that Richie has proven poor judgement - that's your opinion.
of course it is my opinion. I am highly critical in that respect and for good reason. I am raising a child as a divorced woman ... I know exactly what it means to have their childs best interest at heart and I know exactly how hard it is and how many sacrifices it dictates. I also see that most people are not able to do this ... intentionally or not. Egos are a complicated thing.

And as for what I'm smoking - menthols. I'm trying to quit.
LOL. Good for you trying to quit - you are too young for that anyway I quit when I was 23 and it wasn't a day too early.

Yeah, but Tico bones MODELS.

And why does not getting a divorce automatically equal being grown up?

Tico rocks.
It seems the older he gets the hotter his wifes get.

I'd like to see what Tico will be hitting when he's 80.

He goes younger each time, so I'm thinking eight year olds.

So we have yet to hear the source of this late breaking news? I may be going out on a limb here, but my guess would be a tabloid??? For those who believe everything printed in Star Magazine and the like, I have some beautiful oceanfront property in the desert I'd like to sell you......

Actually this news came from Yahoo News and all kind of diffrent newspapers like Ottawa Sun.
But of course it isn't one hundred percent true, I just thought you were intrested in reading it.
