I agree. It also makes me wonder if one of the reasons he was paying them to keep quiet involved conversations they may have had about his reasons for walking away and this is another subtle threat from her to spill those particular beans.

Richie may have a struggle in the press as they have better access to peddle their bullshit. But it'll blow over soon enough as anyone with half a brain cell can see through her nonsense pretty quickly. At least he's burnt those bridges now, a bit of short term pain to get away from those leeches hopefully is the first step to sorting himself out.

I think it's well past the stage where Richie can come out of this looking good, even if it is Lund who is making a complete tool of herself. Lets be honest, she has probably never known Jon to know if he is a real man or not, so she is calling Richie out. I don't care about all his "I needed to do it on my own crap" the longer Richie is out of the band shows how much he actually needs/needed the band.

He aligned with scumbags, calling out his addictions in a public domain, classy. Many here have suspected that Richie is back on booze/drugs, while Borg and Lund's comments are from the bottom of the barrell and not the heart, perhaps its time Richie gets help. It's interesting that she said he alienated family as well, wonder what she meant by that.

"Negotiations broke down, and Richie unwisely chose to make a public, unfounded complaint, which undoubtedly was unwarranted," Lund's lawyer Neville Johnson told the Daily News late Friday.

"She will be filing a complaint next week for numerous breaches of contract and various torts including battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress," he said.

A rep for Sambora previously told The News that Sambora wasn't interested in going after Lund for allegedly making false allegations, but that was before she took the recording to police.
