I was wondering when this would emerge... TMZ (Borg?) chose the right day indeed! Happy birthday Richie!

Richie Sambora
You & Your Ex Stiffed Us ...
Ex-Employees Sue

7/11/2015 12:20 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Richie Sambora and his ex-girlfriend better put their own court battle on the back burner -- they both got slapped with lawsuits from former employees who say their paychecks were a little light.

Bon Jovi's old guitarist and Nikki Lund allegedly stiffed the workers to the tune of $5,000 and $6,775, respectively ... when they punched in for Nikki Rich -- Lund and Sambora's clothing company.

The company's also at the heart of Sambora's extortion lawsuit against Lund -- he claims she falsely accused him of making death threats ... because he pulled out of their biz.

The good news for the exes -- the former employees are suing in small claims court -- which means this whole mess could be handled in ... "The People's Court."

You know Judge Milian would eat this up!

NB: Richie most likely didn't know anything about his employees, how much and if they were paid, etc. I'm sure it won't be hard for his lawyer to prove that Richie just gave money to Nikki Lund to run their company but instead of paying salaries "she used it as her piggybank" as his lawsuit stated.

Yeah, I remember when some guy tweeted or facebooked Richie a while back in an open attempt to let RS know that Nikki wasn't paying contractors. The numbers sound about the same, iirc. I think it was around the time Richie was flying back and forth between the two coasts trying to do his album and work on WAN at the same time. Or maybe the first breeder's cup; I can't remember now. But I wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't what started the whole thing with Nikki rolling. If that was what first alerted him that she was misusing funds it may be when he started pulling out of the business.

Maybe that's when she suddenly discovered that her phone had video and recording features - and that brother Ty and/or Borg had mad 'editing' skillz.

As you say, once again the Boo2Bullying team demonstrates impeccable timing (and limited common sense by just providing Richie's lawyers with more ammo)!

Happy birthday, Mr. Bluesman!

Lund's attorney...stat(ed), "It is my understanding that the case is in the process of being dropped. The dispute has been resolved."
It's Lund's attorney's understanding? It's Lund's attorney, LOL! Doesn't he know for sure -- or was everything "settled" in a manner which allowed him to take Nikki's name off his resume?

Well, thanks for not letting us down by giving us such a perfect ending to such a perfect fiasco, Nikki! A final farewell chorus, then:

Oh, Nikki, you're so dumb
You're so dumb it makes me come
Hey, Nikki! Hey, Nikki!
