Yeah, JBJ and RS just dont get the recognition they deserve really. I know some fans by disagree with this, but they really are a phenominal songwriting duo. Most fans always compare their songwriting to other artists instead of just appreciating what the band have actually done.

You speak of amazing songwriting duo's when a duo writes a song alone. This isn't really true when it comes to JBJ and RS now is it? They use a lot of co-writers, which is why they don't get the recognition they seem to deserve in your opinion.

this is INTERESTING indeed .. I think the too numerous co writers recently can explain the fact they don't get recognition ... except some rare case we never know what are the co writers really doing "for" the song ... I am a faithfull Jovi fan and follower but I prefer when they don't use co writers even if the song then is not as trendy as it would end up with some genius like Desmond Child .... Ok I love their whole Desmond Child catalgue ... (so Child is an exception ) so for a critic how to say BONJOVI song writing is amazing (and it is ) if those critics are not specialy attracted by Bon Jovi when they know that mr Child is there too... they just ignore them and decide it's not BJ real product but some manufactured stuff .. this is a really tricky problem
