Default Richie & Nikki to pay up

Couch change to Richie...

Why do they always show a picture of Jon and Dorothea on Richie/Nikki stories on this site? Is it run by an idiot?

If they didn't care enough to even show up and knew they would ordered to pay up, why didn't they just pay the people months ago and not bother with the lawsuit that makes them look bad?

Don't believe everything you read!
The figures are wrong of course, Richie's not rich (and stupid) enough to give away $150M to his blackmailers. The right numbers were published in the Court article saying that Richie was suing Nikki and Sean for bribery & al. There's already a whole thread (or 2, IIRW) dealing with "the fashion fiasco".

Here's the Courthouse News story:
http://www.courthousenews.com/2015/0...torted-him.htm
Sambora...claims that Lund told him she needed $50,000 to make (her ex-fiance) "go away." He handed over the money, and then the real bilking began...

He says Lund persuaded him to invest $4 million in her company White Trash Beautiful by falsely presenting herself as a successful fashion designer...

Richie is currently listed as being worth "only" $65 million. And here's the Nikki versus Richie Jovitalk thread.

I wouldn't take anything posted by that site as anything but gossip. It's all heresay and guesses.

This is an old article but it just shows how much and how quickly the "stories" change. http://www.nikkirichclothing.com/inc...channel-japan/

The article about the court case keeps calling it White Trash Beautiful which was what they began as - scuttlebutt was that went under and was reinvented as Nikki Rich.

I don't know if it went under as far as they changed the name before it officially launched. Does that sound right to anyone else? I wonder if the court is calling it that because it's still what it's legally registered as.

I remember an old interview in which Richie and Nikki explain that the company's called WTB and "Nikki Rich" is a new department/branch of the mothership, a new line of clothes with a new (less controversial) name to say that the style is different (less sluttish, more ready-to-wear casual clothes), so I guess that from a legal point of view, WTB, the first registered name which is also the generic name of the company, is the one that counts.

Would make sense - more than the gossip media anyway. Nikki Rich may have just been the DBA.
