RICHIE reference in a novel...

Default RICHIE reference in a novel...
The book my Mom is reading called, "BE COOL" has a RICHIE reference...One of the main female characters puts a Bon Jovi CD in and says, "I JUST LOVE RICHIE SAMBORA!!!"(I totally understand where she's coming from...LOL ) So, of course my Mom had to tell me! Now, I gotta read the book...
the author is Elmore Leonard and that's the same guy that wrote "Get Shorty".

I think it's appropriate Richie's in a book called BE COOL

They are making a movie out of that book. It's actually the continuation of Get Shorty. We'll see if the reference makes it to the big screen. And if anyone cares, the wrestler The Rock, plays a gay bodyguard trying to break into the movie industry. LOL.

While you're at it, let me give you another reference: in Michael J. Fox's biography Lucky Man Richie is also mentioned, when Michael met him and Heather. Michael wrote they were very nice people.
