You can only get so high came up on my shuffle yesterday and I forgot how much I dig it. The raw emotion and honesty of the verses only to get let down by the cliche wording in the chorus. But those verses are so perfect.

It's definitely one of my all time favourite Richie solo songs. I don't have a problem with the chorus lyrics. I think stuff like "Twisted in the clouds just like a kite, Fighting just to stay up in the sky" is quite beautiful actially....

Beautiful lyrics, extremely believable [hungover] vocal delivery especially the initial lines of the song ["Hard time waking up this morning...]. If I had to nitpick, it'd be that it needed a signature outro solo to elevate it to that God tier level.

Yeah, they did an awesome job. I found it amusing that when the interviewer asked Richie what came to mind when he heard "Aerosmith", both Richie and the guy with him said "Back in the Saddle" and then that was the song Ori played.

BTW, does anyone recognize the guy on the red carpet with Richie? He looks familiar; but I can't put a name with the face and it's bugging me.
