Not only that, she's not going out of her way to say it's about Richie, it just obviously is. If she were using the situation to her advantage she'd be on TMZ and going to media outlets with that angle only.

Pretty much how I see it. Some people really disliked Richie breaking from the Band, some disliked him not doing a proper solo album, some more disliked her as a person, some people didn't think their collaboration had a real chance to bring good music (I'm in this category - two lead guitars with non compatible voices) etc. These and more are all valid opinions. One might even think that she was in it for his money, and that would be a valid if a not bit rude opinion as well. All of this has lead to Ori being somewhat of a disliked person around here. Fair enough.
But at least from that article one really has to reach far and wide to think that she is using Richie now.
