I was driving today - and there are very few songs on Richie's solo albums I skip, especially depending on my mood but one is "You're Not Alone", I like the guitar but not the vocal mix. It hit me - that is the sound on Tommy's latest release, maybe more so than Shark Frenzy now, with Richie and guess who (you probably know) co-wrote YNA - Tommy Marolda
Also got a message from a friend today - Bruce Foster (Bruce Stephen Foster) is "...thrilled to say that I kicked off the new year with 14 of my songs recorded with Richie Sambora between 1979 and 1981 being included in a new worldwide release.." I can't find the release but he is a co-writer on some great Richie recordings. I expect it to be his vocals as there are some out there for download - imo however no one, writer or not should try a redo of The Answer.
