Also got a message from a friend today - Bruce Foster (Bruce Stephen Foster) is "...thrilled to say that I kicked off the new year with 14 of my songs recorded with Richie Sambora between 1979 and 1981 being included in a new worldwide release.." I can't find the release but he is a co-writer on some great Richie recordings. I expect it to be his vocals as there are some out there for download - imo however no one, writer or not should try a redo of The Answer.
I'm not sure what's up with that announcement. My friend sent me a screenshot, and if that picture is the actual release, I've had it for nearly a year. One CD is John Bongiovi - The Power Station Years, the 2nd is selections from Shark Frenzy vols.1&2, and the 3rd one is a selection of covers of Bon Jovi hits by various artists.

If it's the same album, here's a link to the album that I have on Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/Many-Faces-Bo.../dp/B07BFB3DWX

The picture her screenshot showed was the same as this one. Same tracks. So I can't figure that one out. The message in the screenshot is the same as the one you got, iirc; but somewhere it showed a Feb 15, 2019 release. I couldn't find a release date on the Amazon page (which is unusual) but I'm feeling lousy right now so I may have overlooked it. I'll check the release date on my cover tomorrow and edit.

It's just weird.
