Well, if JBJ is performing solo, it's some private gigs, usually charity or sponsored ones. Can't really compare it to the band as it is and I don't understand how some people say he does better than Richie. Like seriously, what are the criteria? The band is something entirely different. People actually expect Dave and Tico to be there and they expect certain hit songs to be played.
Personally, I think both Jon's and Richie's solo stuff is superb and I go back to their catalogue more often than to BJ post-2000 one...
