In that picture, Richie looks 10/15 years younger. Sometimes I don't understand it.

If I wanted to start rumours I'd say it's final that he won't rejoin Bon Jovi so he continues with his solo album.

The point is that the album was supposedly finished two years ago - so why is he back in the studio again? What's the point is recording all this stuff if no one is ever going to hear it. He could have released 3 albums by now...

It's just like the RSO album all over again...

I'm 100% with you. It's almost 11 years since he left the band and all we got is a bad compilation-kind-of-album with that blonde...

Richie is recording his own Chinese Democracy. Been a year since he was on masked singer UK and told us the album would be out in March 23, April at the latest.

Well Chinese Democracy is an insane album, still one of my (many) favorites. That said, could it be that Richie had a few songs in the can and started writing new stuff along with those songs he's already made? I'm just speculating, obviously.

At this point, Richie should get sober, a publicist, a friendly voice mail for Jon and send him some demos. Surely there's something JBJ would like to sing among those 10+ years worth of songs he's written?

Unlikely to happen (especially since Richie still seems to think Jon would be the one to reach out to him and ask him back?), but they'd both benefit from it. Richie's fans, too, since that way they'd actually get to hear new stuff from him this year.
