Yeah, she wasn't the problem. She's put two albums out since RSO, whereas Richie hasn't released a thing. It's baffeling.

Richie will be appearing in support of Nile Rogers and Chic at the Nordoff Robbins Carol Service at St Luke's Church in Chelsea, London this coming Tuesday. 7:00-8:15 PM.

It seems they're a last-minute replacement for Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend.

I bought my ticket this morning. They're just under £60. No idea what the scene will be, but looking forward to it. If nothing else, it'll hopefully be a chance to see him up close.

Tickets and info here: https://www.nordoff-robbins.org.uk/e...-service-2022/

Richie Sambora left Bon Jovi, in a middle of a tour, almost 10 years ago.

Since that, Bon Jovi released 2 full-new albums, a rare-song record, signed a new record deal, shot videoclips, went into a world tour, even was inducted into RR HOF and doing some shows in the US this year, even with Jon's voice shot.

Richie? A strange duo album with the Alice Cooper and almost-MJ guitarist, with some good tracks and other, meh... Before that, concerts there and there where he actually met Orianthi in one of those.

After RSO, Orianthi has put two solo albums. She himself said only days ago in Twitter (less than a week) that she and RS are no longer together since long ago.

I think what person is the problem. If Orianthi's albums are about Richie, at least Richie could write and sing about Jon 'dictatorship'. Or not?

I think Richie Sambora, sadly, is done. I don't expect anymore from him since years ago.

Damn that would be pretty amazing, no way I can get there in time unfortunately!

thnx yovana! having seen 3 out of the 4 videos i m gonna say i miss Richie!
He looks healthier and together..
on the negatives someone (maybe Richie) decided to add a tone of effects to make the guitar sound like an organ...these effects have time and detune elements and made it sound off key in many occasions...he should add it on somme parts and not everywhere...
apart from that Richies playing has many qualities and each time i find sth that makes me go wow..

I'm not sure that the organ effect was a wise choice. I would have loved to have been there, but I'd rather he just played the songs as regular acoustic versions. Unusual and interesting though.

I understand why he does it, but I wish he would not sing Bon Jovi songs and focus on his own solo work. He has three albums that range from amazing to ok, he has the material. I also never believe in him singing Bon Jovi songs, it always feels like a tribute, which I guess it is.

It would be great to hear his solo catalog live more often. I am asking too much considering the event I know, but still. Although, if he is doing Hallelujah he could replace it and do one of his songs. Even so, he is in decent form. Still not the artist I knew but much closer than a certain someone.

Respectfully, who wants that? He's not getting booked because he's the guy that did "In It For Love". Either he's being asked to do the hits or he knows it's the safe bet. I mean I'd prefer he stood behind his solos stuff more but I don't think enough know it for the types of events he does.

Exactly this. It also means that he doesn't have to rehearse them much and these songs are pretty much in his veins. The show was very last minute, so these choices were the easy ones in that respect. I was hoping that he would bring out One Night Of Peace as this would have been perfect for this occasion, but that would have taken some extra rehearsal, and I don't think Richie is much of a fan of doing that. But yeah, coming out and playing a bunch of solo songs wouldn't have made any sense. If it was his own show then i expect it would be a little different.
