Aye he's really coherent and the footage of him playing the wrong chord from I'll be there for you fills me with confidence.

Honestly, you are sounding like a broken record. Watch the interviews, watch the Masked Singer, then watch some stuff from 2014, it's a different person. Get over the fact he was rude to you when drunk 8 years ago (or whenever) and open your eyes. No one else is suggesting that Richie is a wasted wreck these days except for you and a few sad JBJ boot lickers...

Although I have to say, the way you come across on here, maybe there was a reason he was rude to you. There doesn't seem to be a history of Richie being rude to fans, even then. Quite the opposite in fact. Yours is the only story like that I recall hearing, so...yeah...

What's the story here? I only remember the "he's obviously a drunk!" remarks, not a backstory of Richie being rude to the poster.

Search the users posts. It's something from years ago. I can't be bothered to trawl through his endlessly bitter posts to find it. Drunk Richie ignored him or something after waiting outside a gig last time he played Glasgow.

Richie it to be featured on the Dolly Parton's new "Rock" album. The opening track features Richie and is called "Rockstar" - the album's title track. It's an original song, not a Nickelback cover...

The guy was /is an absolute hero. I have absolutely no resentment towards him nor am I a JBJ bootlicker ... there's more chance of Richie performing to a decent level again that jon...he is finished 100%. Vocally done.

Richie wasn't rude either when I met him, he was just stinking of whisky and off his bin.

I've always enjoyed Richie's counterbalance to Jon - playful, not serious, cared less, funny, here to party, leave the business to others etc and of course he's had his problems but I think he could still tour an album on his own and I don't think he's a mess. His voice and playing still shines at the age, but I do wonder about the chip on his shoulder. It seems to have grown as big as a potato! All his recent comments I've caught have been him bragging, feeling underrated, arrogance etc. His appealing self deprecating style was long gone - so much so I had to genuinely turn him off on one uk tv interview, leaving me feeling a little sad.

Back with the band one last time with Jon leading the way should make it all okay though!

The bragging probably comes from his insecurities and realising his best days are long behind him.

Default Richie , Bon Jovi and John Shanks

A very interesting interview with Richie after he left Bon Jovi. He talks about how it hurt him when John Shanks basically replaced him on What About Now and made him feel like a hired hand. Never heard Richie say this openly before.
Here is the link:
