I really hope Richie, our guitar hero, can spend his old age in good shape and calm. But he’s really done. Probably drunk and even broke, after more than 10 years not receiving enough income for pay his lifestyle. He ended like Michael Jackson. Sounds as a joke but it’s true.

Probably one morning or in a middle of a workday we will receive a breaking news alert in our phones saying “Bon Jovi guitarist found dead from an accidental overdose”, like happened with so many artists.

It’s really sad how Richie ended like this. I simply don’t care for more new music or concerts anymore. I am worried about him as a person, as a father.
Well, while I disagree with some posters on his state in the podcast, this is laying it a bit thick. And by the way, I doubt he is broke considering he sold his rights to the music, which I guess was for tens of millions on top of the wealth he already has. He may be one of the richest guitarists.

The rest of your post, it is not as if Richie has been gone in previous interviews this year. Like I said, I think he was drunk during the podcast, others don't. That's fine, but he wasn't like that on the singing show he did nor the press he did afterwards.

Summed up, your take is "I didn't listen but I think he'll be dead soon anyway"?

This is a bit much. He isn't even close to broke.

Seems Richie guested with O.A.R. at Ocean Calling Festival in Maryland last night, they closed the show with Wanted and Prayer.
Billed as O.A.R. and friends.

And also sounded as usual. Damn that previous post was really sad ha

I'm pretty sure Richie is fine. He loves Ava too much to kill himself anyway.

Official info on amount hasn't made its way public yet but some estimates got it up to 100 -120 million for his rights to his catalog! Imagining it includes everything he co-wrote with and for Bon Jovi, Cher, Alice Cooper etc... it doesn't sound too far off....

"Everything he co-wrote for Alice Cooper and Cher" would be one song each?

Cher there's at least 3:
We All Sleep Alone, Does Anybody Really Fall In Love Anymore, Trail of Broken Hearts (from the Days Of Thunder soundtrack)

Man...that was embarrassing. It hurts me to say, but both performance would be better without Richie there. He left everyone lost in the songs. Sad.

No kidding. I feel like the big bucks went towards this for Wanted, Prayer, Life. Ain't no one licensing "Weathering The Storm" for beer commercials.
