nah it's the money. he'd be doing it gratis if it wasn't.
EDIT: so i don't need to waste time with another post saying: how do you know he was paid?
if he's got a writing credit on it and has publicity for playing he's getting paid and I'm pretty sure he'd have got an advance for it too.
