i read an interview with richie some years ago, and he said he use individual pedals, each one with an special 'music colour'.

maybe in the new century he has changed his mind... and maybe zoom have improved their products and began not to be considered as 'home-only' or 'non-professional'. i only now the one my brother uses, and it's ok, but not for a professional musician.
