AMEN YOMAMA!!

Dave Mustaine is an unreplacable asset to the whole music world. Like Megadeth or not, you have to admit they are very talented musicians.

If anyone thinks that "Hangar 18" is not a guitar masterpiece than that person needs to call it a day and get a flute!

I can find a better bass player than McCartney on the corner of a Denver Downtown Street. Don't get me wrong, I love the Beatles and own their records but they are NOT the best musicians.

Technically, Lennon and Harrison are not even close to Richie but they did write better songs.

lennons voice was fantastic, that cant be denied.

nobody could possibly state which is the best guitarist in the world!
its totally about opinions, technical ability doesnt have to come into it.

For example, CC Deville, writes fantastic solos and riffs for Poison, but Malmstein or Steve Vai are technically better, so what?? id rather hear Unskinny Bop or Talk Dirty To Me (which actually took 10 mins to write!) if only for the emotion and adrenalin pumped into the songs.

By the way Hendrix was good, thats all, technically he was no better than your average guitarist, too many music snobs in this world i am afraid.

Very true.

Partially true. It is totally about opinions, yes. To me 'the best' is always a subjective matter but if we were to evaluate guitarists, technical ability should at least be considered so as to make the judgement more objective; technical ability can be judged more objectively.

Well I love Poison and I prefer Talk Dirty To Me over Steve Vai's The Audience Is Listening but I would still say Steve Vai is a better guitar player than CC, because of his technical skills. CC is a better songwriter probably (depends on who you talk to).

This is right. I think Hendrix is regarded highly because 'he was there first' and he was extremely influential, not because of his chops. I have no problems with that.

Comfortably Numb does really have a good solo in the end.So...
That's probably the best guitar part Pink Floyd has ever done.

And I don't like the guitars in Megadeth.I must say I hev just PECAE SELLS,BUT WHO'S BUYING but it didn't have anything that appeales .I know,I'm not that much into THRASH but I like SLEYER and SEPULTURA a lot.

Typical....starting to talk about the way I post and the way I write names and the way I laugh.....Come to the point....

Gilmour is not as far as good as Slash or as RICHIE and he is also overrated as a songwriter.Pink Floyd is a good band, nothing more!
