Ahh I was wrong then. I was pretty tired when I watched the performance cuz I work nights and had stayed up much later just to catch Bon Jovi. So I wasn't as attentive to details. I never went to double check, but it seemed that the set change time was very short between Bon Jovi and DC. So when I saw the same model being used by the DC band guitarist...I just went with that.

how can you assume Richie was playing somebody elses guitar? That's impossible....I mean..come on....not even amateur's do this.
If you are Richie Sambora you play your own guitars...Come on...I mean he must have like dozens of ciontracts...I can't belive somebody can think Richie plays Destiny's Child guitra...

It has nothing to do with who he is or how many guitars he's got. It has to do with the staging. There was no rotating stage set and like I said..it seemed Destiny's Child came out pretty quick.. with not enough time to change up the drum kit or keyboards. No, I wouldn't expect them to do that, but I've seen it done. It's a logistics and sound issue. Free show playing all day long with one act after another, each act getting about 15 minutes of stage time. Got to rotate acts quickly.

and I did say I was exhausted when I watched the thing.

I didn't read the whole thread as I posted, sorry.

Anyway, Richie Sambora would never play somebody elses guitar whatever show it would be. It'd take more time to set it up than to bring your own guitar.
