The original hat is a Stetson. Richie said once which one it is in a TV show but he must have been wrong since the hat he named looks totally different. Earlier he said that the hat is custom made and only he and Stevie Ray Vaughn have this hat.

Just buy a black cowboyhat and a hatband made out of Conchos (this is what these "coins" are called) and you have a simlar one. That's how some people made it.
