Most people that do coke lose weight not gain weight. Alcohol will put the pounds on you though.

I sure as hell hope he isn't doing coke - music has lost too many relatively young guys who though they could do coke when they got older.

Too true. I lost one of my idols and inspirations when Brad Delp committed suicide. Good on Richie for making the uphill climb.

Yeah - I was thinking the same thing myself when I was typing the above about coke use.

this is the best thing to do probably ...I wish Richie the best and a quick "recovery"

I am relieved he decided to go to rehab it's better to go there before it's too late

That's not true and I don't know how too explain but it isn't (coke gets a lot higher eating desire then alcohol, gaining weights depends on wich alcohol is dranked, alcohol breaks down the food differently, coke addicted will go a lot more take a shit then alcohol addicts)
I also believe that a coke addicted isn't much different then a alcohol addiction
Maradonna (the soccer-player) is a good example for a fat coke addicted.
Also its very viewable in the face, coke addicted normally also get a fat face while alcohol addicted normally get a 'fallen in' face. But still all is very dependable genetic system of person.

Coke addicted certainly don't have the tendency to commit suicide quicker then alcohol, that's complete bullocks.

I'm gutted. I wish him the very best. I agree with the sentiment there is no Bon Jovi without Richie.

ahh, I bet his just looking for a new date and he targeted some celebrity with drugs/alcohol problems, like say Britney Spears or Maradonna.

It's actually not funny. I feel bad for him and I also feel bad that "the machine" went on even during these times...ah well, what do I know?

I don't think that will happen. I feel bad for him, but I think he'll come back better than ever, and good for him for realizing he had a problem before it got too out of hand. Makes me respect the man all the more.
