I still can't get over the fact that Blaze of Glory is a masterpiece! The more I think about it, the better it is!!! You could say that an album is as strong as its weakest link, and this one does not have weak links!! Or if you prefer, an album is the sum of the songs in it plus some more, which is also true of BoG. It's just amazing.
I like Richie's solos too, especially Stranger. It's got an atmospheare of its own, which is quite different from anything Bon Jovi has ever done, which goes to show how varied Richie is as a writer and player. To be honest, I probably wouldn't listen to Stranger too much if it wasn't for my bf - he thinks it's the best album of all related to BJ, and that's why it gets a lot of playtime in our household.
Still, Jon's work wins by far because of Blaze. And because of Jon's voice - his voice reaches me in a way Richie's never can.
