Default Rock and roll HOF exhibit

Hi gang, I’m a new user and signed up just so I could ask this question. Have any of you been to the Bon Jovi exhibit at the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame? I’m just wondering what it’s like, how much of the memorabilia is focused on the post Sambora era? Thank you. This message board is very informational and I’ve put on reading some of your posts.

I guess that link will help a little bit.

Just from a quick look I see that the band’s 100.000.000 MFCBW golden jackets are there, also Richie’s double-neck acoustic Ovation from WDOA video, Jon’s BOG video Gibson acoustic is there as well, Tico’s Pearl Kick Drum, Jon’s NJ long leather jacket, LOAP-Wanted- Never Say Goodbye-Let it rock etc. handwritten lyrics, Alec’s 1989 red shirt plus one old green bass, Jon’s black Fender, Richie’s long coat, Hugh’s 5 string bass, SWW “wet” cover shirt, Jon’s NH denim + the famous BJ NJ denim guitar, Jon’s 1996 yellow outfit, one sunburst Sambora Strat, Jon’s Miracle motorcycle, Jon’s denim jacket and his takamine acoustic, yellow Tele, TT’s sparkly vest, Wembley 95 setlist, Dave's Yamaha and etc.

With other words as you can expect the exhibit is not that much Post-RS orientated.

Interesting that there are a few Richie items on show, surely these are owned by Richie not the band, so it appears that he must have had some involvement in this? Suprising.

I think they donated many items to the museum years before they were inducted.

If it was paid for by the band orginizaiton and stored in whatever storage facility they use it may have still been provided by the band.

They’ve got a mix of stuff from the whole career, but there’s definitely more focus on the earlier years and Sambora’s time with the band. The post-Sambora era stuff is there, but it’s not the main highlight.
